Q.Can I change my name by deed poll?



A.To be able to change your name by deed poll you will need at least one of the following criteria :

• You need to be 16 or over to apply for a change of name by deed poll in person. If you are under 16 then one of your parent or legal Guardian has to apply for the child’s change of name deed poll.
• If you are british citizen and live in the united kingdom you can order a change of name by deed poll from us
• If you are a British citizen and live abroad you will need to go to the nearest British Consulate of High commission to check if you need any more information.
• If you are a foreign national living in the united kingdom you should go to the nearest British Consulate of High commision to find out if your application for a change of name would be accepted by them as a proof of name of change.
